I build my lidded vessel out of clay because I wanted to be able to mold the car and be able to fix mistakes without starting over. I inserted a plexiglass windshield. The black strip behind the seats is the folded convertable top. The trunk opens for storage.
I built my garage out of wood because I origionaly wanted to stain the wood but I later decided that paint would look better. Cars are the main theme of my art because I have a passion for driving, fixing, and collecting cars. I molded this dolphin out of clay and glazed it grey to match with the real thing. It was tedious but I enjoyed it. I am satisfied with my result. I worked on this piece for my girlfriend. I wrote a note and a date in the shape of an infinity. It was not very difficult and I was satisfied with my result. I do not have pictures of my stamps, but I created three: One stamp was designed to make a honey comb pattern The second was designed to look like feathers The third was designed to look like a girls head Sue Hill and her brother Pete create masterful mud and grass sculptures. Here is the marvelous Mud Maid which can be found sleeping on the woodland walk at the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall, U.K. She changes with the seasons. |
